Quick answers to the questions learners ask most often.
Both options include the same learning features. Monthly is billed at 9,49 € each month. Annual is billed at 67,99 € for 12 months, which is about 5,67 € per month and 40% less than paying monthly.
Before subscribing, visitors can use a limited preview to understand the learning experience. It contains a story excerpt, a short audio excerpt and 1–2 example exercises; it is not a complete story, not a trial subscription and does not include PDF or MP3 downloads.
Cancellation is separate from deleting your account. Use the membership area or the public “Abo kündigen” link; the cancellation flow must show the effective cancellation date before final confirmation. During the initial Annual term, the contractual earliest end date applies; after that term the continued contract can be cancelled with no more than one month’s notice.
Learning Rhythm tracks your weekly learning-day goal and your current progress. The dashboard shows your current rhythm and any grace-week behaviour exactly as implemented in your account.
Use the password-reset flow and follow the reset email. LTS support will never ask you to send your password.

Monthly memberships continue until cancelled. The Annual membership has an initial 12-month term; if it is not cancelled, the contract then continues for an indefinite period and can be cancelled at any time with no more than one month’s notice. Your actual next billing date and effective contract dates must come from the subscription system.

Payments are processed via Stripe and PayPal. Checkout shows only the payment methods that are actually enabled and available to you. Never send card numbers, CVC codes or passwords through support.
Founding members keep their original price while the membership continues without interruption. New prices apply to new memberships; existing subscriptions remain on their existing price.
No. LTS does not offer a free trial or a voluntary money-back guarantee. Before subscribing, visitors can use a limited preview with a story excerpt, a short audio excerpt and 1–2 example exercises; it is not a complete story and has no PDF or MP3 downloads. The statutory withdrawal right is separate and is not a free trial.
We notify the member by email and the payment provider can retry the payment. Access continues for 7 days while payment details are updated; after that paid content is locked, but learning data remains.
Paid access continues until the effective cancellation date shown in the cancellation confirmation. Cancelling does not delete your account or learning progress. Account deletion is a separate action.
Consumers generally have a 14-day statutory withdrawal period from the conclusion of the contract. This is not a free trial. PDF and MP3 downloads use a separate one-time consent flow if you want immediate download access before that period ends; this does not mean the entire subscription automatically loses its withdrawal right.
Using LTS
Yes. LTS is designed to work in the phone browser. A native app may come later, but it is not presented as currently available.
LTS stories are written by people and the narration starts with human readers. In some stories with several characters, parts of a human-recorded performance may be transformed with AI-assisted voice technology to make individual characters easier to distinguish. LTS does not use a fully AI-generated narrator instead of a human reader.
Paid members can download PDF and MP3 files. The free preview has no downloads. During the statutory withdrawal period, downloads are unlocked only after the one-time consent for immediate provision of those digital contents; without that consent they remain locked until the withdrawal period ends.
Downloaded PDF and MP3 files can be used from your device. This does not mean the complete web learning experience works offline.
Speaking recordings are private and are not shared with other users. They are stored for your account only as needed to provide the recording feature. The launch Speaking feature does not use speech recognition or automatic pronunciation grading, and recordings are not described as being used for AI training.
Yes. You can delete your own recordings. Deleting a recording does not remove previously earned XP or a completed Story Stamp; technical backup copies may disappear later according to the backup deletion cycle.
Learning with LTS
Before subscribing, visitors can use a limited preview to understand the learning experience. It contains a story excerpt, a short audio excerpt and 1–2 example exercises; it is not a complete story, not a trial subscription and does not include PDF or MP3 downloads.
Cancelling the membership does not delete your account. Learning progress remains with the account and can be used again if the membership is reactivated, subject to the privacy and retention rules. Account deletion is a separate action.
Learning Rhythm tracks your weekly learning-day goal and your current progress. The dashboard shows your current rhythm and any grace-week behaviour exactly as implemented in your account.
XP records learning activity and Story Stamps mark completed stories. They are progress and motivation features and are not removed simply because a membership ends.
No. Cancellation does not itself delete XP or Story Stamps. They remain with your account subject to the privacy and retention rules; deleting the account is handled separately.
Account & settings
Use Account settings for your account and profile information. Billing details remain separate when they are handled by the secure billing system.
Use the existing account workflow to change your email address. If verification is required, follow the confirmation step sent to the relevant email address.
Use the password-reset flow and follow the reset email. LTS support will never ask you to send your password.
Where the legal requirements apply, you can request access to or portability of your personal data through the privacy or support contact. An automated self-service export should only be advertised if it is actually available.
Account deletion is separate from cancelling a membership. Operational account, learning and audio data are deleted or anonymised according to the privacy policy; legally required invoice and evidence data may remain stored in restricted form for the statutory retention period. The deletion flow must clearly explain what happens to any active subscription before final confirmation.
Cancelling does not automatically delete your account, learning progress or private recordings. These remain associated with the account until the account is deleted or another applicable retention rule requires action. After account deletion, operational data is deleted or anonymised while legally required invoice or evidence data can remain blocked until the retention period ends.
