From self-taught polyglot to Language Through Story
Hi, I'm Markus. I learned Arabic, Persian, Portuguese, Greek and English on my own – without courses, mostly by reading stories. Each new language started the same way: a book I wanted to understand and a story I wanted to finish.
That taught me something simple: we remember words when they mean something to us. A word in a story has a place, a feeling and a reason to come back. And when learning is fun, you keep going – and that is what really makes the difference.
In 2024 I started my YouTube channel to share this way of learning German. Today 100,000 learners listen to our stories. Language Through Story is the next step: a place where you don't just listen, but read, practise and speak with every story.
